Arbeloa Asks Arnold to Leave Real Madrid
Friday 23-01-2026
A report by the British newspaper 'Mirror' revealed that Álvaro Arbeloa, the coach of Real Madrid, held a meeting with Trent Alexander-Arnold, during which he informed him that he is not part of Real Madrid's long-term plans, emphasizing that the decision is purely sports-related and carries no other dimensions.

According to the report, Arnold's entourage has already begun looking for a new destination in preparation for his departure during the upcoming summer transfer market, amid interest from several clubs in acquiring his services.

Real Madrid's management explained that the decision to allow the player to leave at the end of the season is due to his weak defensive performance, as well as his failure to provide the expected offensive contribution in the recent period.

Arnold joined Real Madrid last summer for 10 million euros from Liverpool, but the player has been unable to showcase himself so far due to injuries.
