French defender Ibrahima Konaté, player of Liverpool FC, announced the passing of his father, Hamadi Konaté, through an emotional post on his official Instagram account, where he simply shared the verse 'Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return' along with details of the funeral prayer.

Konaté explained that the funeral prayer will be held on Friday immediately after the Friday prayer, at 12:45 PM, at the Aulnay-sous-Bois Mosque located in the suburbs of the French capital, Paris, inviting everyone who can attend to participate in praying for his father.

The post included a noble prophetic saying highlighting the virtue of praying over the deceased and supplicating for them, reflecting the player's adherence to religious values in this difficult human circumstance his family is going through.
