Chelsea Football Club has completed its agreement to sign the young defender Yessa Alao, aged 17, from Sheffield Wednesday, as part of the London club's efforts to strengthen its squad with promising talents.

According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, the initial fees for the deal exceed £500,000, along with significant additional incentives linked to the player's participation and technical development.

The same source indicated that Chelsea managed to finalize the deal after strong competition with three other major Premier League clubs, as the player preferred the 'Blues' sports project and their plan for developing young players.

Yessa Alao is considered one of the most prominent emerging talents in the full-back position, and he is expected to join Chelsea's youth teams, with plans to develop him in preparation for his future promotion to the first team.
