The media personality Khaled Al-Ghandour spoke about Al-Ahly nearing the completion of a deal to sign the Jordanian star Awda Al-Fakhouri, the star of the Jordanian club Al-Hussein Irbid.

Al-Ghandour stated on Facebook: "Al-Ahly is close to finalizing the deal for the return of the 20-year-old Jordanian player Al-Fakhouri, and he will be registered under the age category."

Fakhouri's return showcased remarkable brilliance with the Jordanian national team during their participation in the recent Arab Cup, where he helped the Nashama team reach the final match, before losing the title to their Moroccan counterparts.

Reports have indicated that several clubs have entered negotiations to sign Awda Al-Fakhouri this January, but the player's desire is to join Al-Ahly.
