The Spanish newspaper 'Sport' reported that Barcelona has a great chance to earn huge financial gains if they manage to finish the group stage among the top eight teams in the Champions League.

The report indicates that the team's defeats against Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea, along with a draw against Club Brugge, have complicated the Catalan team's position, but winning the remaining two matches will put Barcelona on the path to direct qualification, which will ease the match schedule and spare the team from playing in the playoffs.

According to the newspaper, Barcelona has so far secured 25.8 million euros, including 18.6 million euros just for participating in the group stage, and another 7 million euros based on the team's results, as the team recorded 3 wins with a reward of 2.1 million euros per win, and a draw granted the team an additional 700 thousand euros.

The report added that qualifying for the round of 16 grants an additional 11 million euros, with a 2 million euro bonus for the team that qualifies directly and 1 million euros for those who qualify through the playoffs. With two matches remaining, Barcelona aims to earn an additional 4.2 million euros, which could raise the total financial rewards to 42.8 million euros, in addition to an extra amount depending on the team's final position in the ranking.
