Al-Ahli turned the tables on Al-Khaleej and emerged with a convincing 4-1 victory in the match held at the Al-Inma Stadium in King Abdullah Sports City, as part of the 17th round of the Roshn Saudi League.

The German Matthias Jaissle entered the match with a lineup that included Abdulrahman Al-Sanabi, Ali Majrashi, Roger Ibanez, Merih Demiral, Zakaria Hawsawi, Franck Kessié, Valentin Atangana, Firas Al-Buraikan, Riyad Mahrez, Ivan Toney, and Galeno.

Al-Khaleej surprised the home team by scoring the opening goal in the 19th minute, following an impressive run by Paulo Fernandes who delivered a cross that Masouras headed into Al-Ahli's net.

Al-Ahli's style changed completely in the second half, as they imposed their offensive dominance. The English player Ivan Toney managed to equalize in the 59th minute, capitalizing on a precise cross from Ali Majrashi inside the box.

Tony returned to put Al-Ahli in the lead at the 68th minute, following up on a ball that bounced off the Gulf goalkeeper after a powerful shot by the Brazilian Galeno, successfully sending it into the net.

The English striker continued his impressive performance by scoring his third goal—a hat-trick—in the 77th minute, following a header from Riyad Mahrez, which he finished with a decisive touch inside the goal.

Rayan Hamed concluded the goal festival by scoring the fourth goal in the 87th minute, capitalizing on a rebound from the Gulf goalkeeper, securing Al-Ahli's victory and earning three valuable points.

With this victory, Al-Ahli climbed to second place in the Saudi League standings with 37 points, while Al-Khaleej's points remained at 24, placing them eighth.
