Tuesday 20-01-2026
Sports journalist Khaled El-Ghandour revealed that Hossam Hassan, the head coach of the Egyptian national team, will include some new faces in the squad for the upcoming March training camp.

Al-Ghandour added on the program "Stad Al-Mahwar" that Hossam Hassan discussed with his assistants the exclusion of some players who participated in the Africa Cup of Nations from his future plans. He pointed out that the coaching staff will begin monitoring new talents in preparation for adding them to the national team, provided that these players excel with their clubs.

Al-Ghandour continued: "Among the players are Marwan Osman, the new Al-Ahly striker, defender Amr El-Gazzar, Zamalek player Nasser Maher, and the Pyramids trio Marwan Hamdy, Ahmed Atef Qatta, Mahmoud Morai, and Ali Fawzi, a modern right-back."

The World Cup competition will kick off next June, with the Egyptian national team placed in Group G alongside Belgium, Iran, and New Zealand.
