Nasser Maher refuses to waive his dues to Zamalek
Sports broadcaster Ahmed Shobier, former Al Ahly star, revealed a new crisis facing Zamalek Club.
Shobeir said on "On Sport FM" radio that Zamalek star Nasser Maher is close to transferring to Pyramids Club.
Shobeir confirmed that Nasser Maher has outstanding dues with Zamalek Club, and that his transfer to Pyramids involves a complex financial settlement, with the first part of the deal being a deduction of 15 million Egyptian pounds from the debt owed by Pyramids to Zamalek.
The second part involves Pyramids paying an amount close to one million US dollars to complete the player's transfer.
Shobeir concluded: "As for the player, he has outstanding dues amounting to 10 million pounds, and Zamalek asked him to waive them, but he refused."
