Al Hilal turned the tide in their match against Neom, successfully overturning a deficit to secure a valuable 2-1 victory in an exciting game held as part of the Saudi Pro League (Roshn Saudi League) competition.

The match, which was part of the sixteenth round, was hosted at King Khalid Sports City Stadium and witnessed a great competition between the two teams before Al-Hilal secured the win with their experience in the second half.

Al Hilal entered the match with a lineup that included Mohammed Al-Rubaie, Theo Hernandez, Pablo Mari, Hassan Tembakti, Hamad Al-Yami, Sergej Milinković-Savić, Ruben Neves, Mohammed Kanno, Darwin Núñez, Marcos Leonardo, and Malcom.

The opening minutes saw consecutive attempts from Al Hilal, most notably Savic's shot that hit the post, and a clear chance for Darwin Núñez, which was brilliantly saved by the Neom goalkeeper.

Neom succeeded in scoring the opening goal before the end of the first half, as Mohammed Al-Buraik headed the ball into the net in the 42nd minute, ending the first half with the home team in the lead.

At the start of the second half, Hassan Tembakti brought Al Hilal back into the game with an equalizing goal in the 49th minute, capitalizing on a precise cross delivered by the Portuguese player Ruben Neves.

Ruben Neves completed his return to Al Hilal by scoring the second goal from a penalty in the 66th minute, securing a victory that strengthened his team's lead at the top and raised their total to 41 points.

With this victory, Al Hilal extended the gap to seven points ahead of Al Nassr, who are in second place, while Neom's points remained at 20, placing them tenth in the standings.
