Saturday 17-01-2026
Mishaal Al-Mutairi, the first team football player at Abha Club, has finalized his decision regarding his future after determining his stance on transferring to Al-Ahli Jeddah during the current winter transfer window.

According to press reports, Al-Mutairi agreed with Abha's management to continue with the team until the end of the season, despite officially signing a professional contract with Al-Ahli after entering the free period.

The player informed his southern club's management of his desire to stay, supporting the team's journey as they lead the Yelo League for First Division clubs, confirming his full commitment until the end of the current season.

Al-Mutairi decided to postpone joining Al-Ahli and will wear the Jeddah club's jersey starting from the next season, after fulfilling his current commitments with Abha.

Al-Ahli's management tried to buy the remaining period of Al-Mutairi's contract during the winter market, after he signed a contract extending for three seasons and underwent the medical examination in Jeddah, according to Al-Riyadiyah newspaper.

Al-Mutairi, aged 26, is considered one of the players with diverse experience, as he started his career with Al-Ansar in 2020, then moved to Ohod in 2022, before joining Abha in the summer of 2023.
