Trusted journalist Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Manchester United does not intend to rush the decision regarding the next manager, noting that the club’s management will take their full time before making the final decision.

According to Romano, Roberto De Zerbi, the coach of French club Marseille, is highly regarded within the club, admired for his attacking style and his approach to team building.

On the other hand, the INEOS Group, which owns a stake in the club, has expressed clear admiration for the German coach Thomas Tuchel, due to his extensive experience and ability to win titles.

Romano also pointed out that several figures within Manchester United are impressed with coach Oliver Glasner, the current manager of Crystal Palace, who will be leaving the team at the end of the season.

As of now, Manchester United has not yet identified a preferred first choice for the role, as the club continues to carefully review all the candidates before making a final decision.

It is worth noting that Michael Carrick is currently serving as the interim manager of Manchester United until the end of the current season, following the departure of Rúben Amorim.
