Al-Nassr Loses Half of Its Strength Against Al-Shabab
Friday 16-01-2026
Al-Nassr Club will be without the services of five players at once during their upcoming match against Al-Shabab, as part of the 15th round of the Roshn Saudi Professional League, scheduled to take place at Al-Orobah Park.

Marcelo Brozović and Nawaf Al-Aqidi will be absent from Al-Nassr's lineup due to suspensions. Brozović's absence is a result of accumulating yellow cards, while Al-Aqidi is barred from participating after receiving a red card.

Senegalese star Sadio Mané continues to be absent from Al-Nassr due to his participation with his national team in the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations, which reduces the team's attacking options for the upcoming match.

Defender Abdelilah Omari will also miss the match due to a hamstring tear injury, as he has not yet completed his treatment and physical rehabilitation program to return to the field.

Added to the list of absences is player Raghad Al-Najjar due to injury, along with Salem Al-Najdi, who was excluded by a technical decision from coach Jesus, according to the coaching staff's assessment.

These multiple absences pose a significant challenge for Al-Nassr ahead of their match against Al-Shabab, a game in which the team aims to maintain its position in the competition race of the Roshn Saudi League.
