Atalanta Announces the Signing of Raspadori

Italian club Atalanta officially announced the signing of the international Italian striker Giacomo Raspadori from Sassuolo on a permanent contract.

Raspadori is 25 years old and is considered one of the prominent names in Italian football in recent years.

Raspadori has an impressive record at both the domestic and international levels, having played 45 matches for the Italian national team, scoring 11 goals, and was part of the “Azzurri” squad that won the Euro 2020 title.

At the Serie A level, he has participated in 164 matches, scoring 31 goals and providing 15 assists, and has won the league title twice with Napoli.

The player also has considerable European experience, having played 17 Champions League matches for Napoli and Atalanta, scoring 6 goals and assisting 4 others.

Raspadori played the first half of the current season with Atletico Madrid, appearing in 15 matches across all competitions, scoring 2 goals and providing 3 assists.

Raspadori’s football roots go back to Sassuolo, where he progressed through all youth categories up to the first team and even captained the side before transferring to Napoli in the summer of 2022.
