Zamalek Defeats Al-Masry 2-0 in the Capital Cup
The match between Zamalek and Al-Masry Port Said, held this evening Thursday as part of the seventh round of the Egypt Cup, ended with a 2-0 victory for the White Team.
Zamalek's first goal was scored by Juan Alvina Bezira in the 21st minute from a penalty kick, and in the 90+8th minute, Ahmed Sherif added the second goal for the White team.
Zamalek's points rose to 7, placing them fifth in their group standings, while Al-Masry's points remained at 11, keeping them at the top of the table.
It is noted that there will be a match between Zamalek and Al-Masry Port Said on Sunday, January 25th, in the third round of the group stage of the African Confederation Cup.
