Gradisar on the Verge of Leaving Al Ahly in the Winter Transfer Window
Slovenian Nejc Gradišar, the forward of Al Ahly's first football team, is close to leaving the Red Castle during the current winter transfer window, as he has fallen out of the plans of the coaching staff led by the Dane Jes Thorup.
According to the 247 platform, the Hungarian club Újpest is close to finalizing the signing of Gradisar on a one-season loan, after receiving approval from coach Yes Torop for the player's departure during this January.
Reports indicated that the Al-Ahli coach requested to release Gradishar due to dissatisfaction with his technical performance, as a step towards signing a "super" foreign striker capable of providing an offensive boost to the team in the upcoming phase.
It is worth mentioning that Gradishar scored Al Ahly's only goal in their 2-1 loss against Tala'ea El Gaish in the match held today as part of the seventh round of the Egypt Capital Cup. However, this was not enough for him to continue with the team.
