Ikramy Criticizes El-Shenawy
Egypt's national team lost to Senegal 1-0 yesterday, Wednesday, in the Africa Cup of Nations semifinal.
Ikrami said in a television interview: "I am very sad because of El-Shenawy. I defended him in the last match against Ivory Coast, but today I find no justification to defend him."
He added: "He is supposed to have greater and better abilities than this... The mistake he always makes is that he stays on his feet, and this happened with the first goal in the match against Ivory Coast and was repeated against Senegal."
He continued: "The vision is completely clear for Al-Shenawy, and the ball is far away; he didn't think of making any attempt at it."
