Al Ahly Leans Towards Retaining Gradisar and Plans to Sign an Underage Foreign Striker
Thursday 15-01-2026
The prevailing opinion within Al Ahly Club is to retain the Slovenian striker Nick Gradisar in the first football team, provided that no suitable local or international offer arrives in the coming period that meets the club's technical and financial aspirations.

In the same context, Al-Ahli's management is considering signing an underage foreign striker to serve as a new offensive addition alongside Marwan Osman, as part of the plan to strengthen the forward line in preparation for upcoming domestic and continental competitions.

Media personality Khaled El-Ghandour, during his program "Stad El-Mahwar," pointed out that the final decision regarding Geradishar's future or the signing of new deals will be determined based on the nature of the offers presented, in a way that serves Al Ahly's interests both technically and from an investment perspective.

On another note, Al-Ghandour explained that Al-Ahly's management has decided to increase the value of the advertising contract for the Malian midfielder Aliou Dieng as part of their efforts to renew his contract. After the initial offer was $1.8 million, including advertising, the management is now looking to raise the offer to nearly $2 million, hoping to finalize the renewal soon.
