Real Madrid was eliminated from the Copa del Rey after losing 3-2 to Albacete in the round of 16, in a match held at the Carlos Belmonte Stadium.

Albacete took the lead through Javi Villar in the 42nd minute, after a cross from a corner kick that Villar headed into the net past goalkeeper Andriy Lunin.

In the 45+3rd minute, Real Madrid scored the equalizer through Franco Mastantuono after a cross from a corner kick. Hausen headed the ball, which was initially saved by the goalkeeper, and then Mastantuono followed up to put it into the net.

In the 82nd minute, Albacete scored a second goal through Jefty Betancur after Gonzalo Garcia cleared the ball, which reached Jefty, who took a shot that bounced off the ground and found the back of the net.
