Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus, head of Saudi club Al-Nassr, has begun reviewing the mistakes made by the team during the Riyadh derby against Al-Hilal, in preparation for the upcoming match against Al-Shabab next Saturday in the sixteenth round of the league.

The Saudi newspaper Al-Riyadiyah reported that Jesus focused his training on correcting defensive and offensive mistakes to enhance Al-Nassr players' readiness ahead of the upcoming match and to try to regain victories after the team's recent setbacks.

The source indicated that the Portuguese coach will decide on a replacement for the Croatian Marcelo Brozović in the match against Al-Shabab, following Brozović's absence due to suspension. Additionally, the coach will assess the condition of the French player Mohamed Simakan, who did not complete the game against Al-Hilal.

Al-Nassr suffered a painful defeat against Al-Hilal, losing three goals to one in the Riyadh derby, during the fifteenth round of the Roshn Saudi Professional League.

Al-Nassr currently holds second place in the league standings with 31 points, seven points behind the leader Al-Hilal, which puts significant pressure on them to remain competitive for the title.

The yellow team has been struggling with a series of negative results, having failed to win any match in the last four rounds, recording three losses and one draw. Jesus is keen to rectify this before facing Al-Shabab.
