Al Hilal Shocks Al-Hamdan with Its Decision Regarding His Transfer to Al-Nassr
Wednesday 14-01-2026
Al Hilal Club's management has initially settled its stance regarding the circulating news about the transfer of striker Abdullah Al-Hamdan to Al-Nassr Club during the current winter transfer period.

Al Hilal officials refused to enter into any preliminary negotiations concerning Al-Hamdan's departure to Al-Nassr, according to the Saudi newspaper “Al-Riyadiyah,” putting an end to the increasing speculations surrounding the matter.

Abdullatif Al-Ghannam, the player's agent and father, continued holding meetings with Al Hilal's management to reach a formula that would allow Al-Hamdan's departure, especially since his contract expires on the sixth of next February.

Sources indicated that Al-Nassr Club will not be able to officially register Abdullah Al-Hamdan unless an amicable agreement is reached between the player and Al Hilal's management before the closure of the winter transfer window.

Al-Hamdan's future is expected to be decided in the coming days, whether by Al Hilal agreeing to his departure or insisting on his staying until the end of his contract with the team.

Al-Hamdan had expressed his refusal to renew his contract with Al Hilal under the current terms, preferring to undertake a new experience that offers him a greater opportunity for regular participation.

The Al Hilal striker welcomed the idea of transferring to Al-Nassr, especially due to his desire to work again under the leadership of Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus, if the deal is permitted to be completed.
