The Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo" revealed that Portuguese star João Cancelo participated today, Wednesday, in his first training session with FC Barcelona, under the guidance of coach Hans Flick. This came after his official presentation on Tuesday at the Spotify Camp Nou stadium, marking the start of his second spell with the Catalan team.

The newspaper explained that the official announcement of Cancelo's loan was delayed by a few hours due to an administrative procedure, before the player joined the training sessions. There, he will meet several teammates he has played with before, such as Lamin Yamal, Coubarzi, Fermin, and Gavi—players whom Cancelo described during his introduction as children who have grown into men.

The newspaper added that the training session is part of the preparations for the match against Racing Santander, scheduled for Thursday evening as part of the Copa del Rey competition, followed by a press conference with coach Hans Flick.

Barcelona will travel to Santander on Thursday, where the team will stay at the Eurostars Hotel Real before the match, and will return immediately after the game, according to the Spanish newspaper.
