Al-Qadisiyah Closes the Door on Al-Hilal and Al-Ittihad and Holds on to Its Duo
Wednesday 14-01-2026
The management of Saudi club Al-Qadisiyah has made a final decision regarding the offers submitted by Al-Hilal and Al-Ittihad for the signings of the duo Mohamed Abu Al-Shamat and Jihad Dhikri during the current winter transfer window.

The Saudi newspaper "Al-Riyadiyah" reported that Al-Qadsiah's management received two official offers: Al-Ittihad club submitted a request to loan defender Jihad Dhikri until the end of the current season, while Al-Hilal sent an official letter to purchase right-back Mohammed Abu Al-Shamat.

After reviewing both offers, Al-Qadisiyah's management decided to reject them outright, affirming their unwillingness to let go of any players during the current phase of the season.

The same source pointed out that Al-Qadisiyah considers Jihad Dhikri and Abu Al-Shamat as key pillars in the team's project, especially given their long-term contracts extending until the end of the 2028-2029 season, which strengthens the club's position in maintaining its technical stability.
