Torino Eliminates Roma and Advances to Coppa Italia Quarterfinals
Roma was eliminated from the Coppa Italia in the round of 16 after losing 3-2 to Torino in the match held at the Olimpico Stadium.
Torino opened the scoring in the 35th minute through Che Adams, before Roma managed to equalize at the start of the second half with Mario Hermoso in the 46th minute. Torino then regained the lead with a second goal from Che Adams in the 52nd minute.
In the 81st minute, Antonio Arena brought Roma back into the game by scoring the second equalizer, but Torino sealed the match in the final moments when Emirhan Ilhan scored the winning third goal in the 90th minute.
With this result, Torino qualified for the quarterfinals of the Coppa Italia, setting up a match against Inter Milan on Wednesday, February 4th, at 9:30 PM Cairo time.
