English star Jude Bellingham, Real Madrid player, issued an official statement to respond to reports claiming that he did not support the playing style and ideas of Xabi Alonso, as well as the existence of tension in their relationship, confirming that what has been circulated is not true.

Bellingham said in his statement: "Until now, I have let many of these matters go without a response; I always wait for the truth to appear in its time."

He added: "But honestly, what nonsense (is being circulated)."

He concluded: "I truly feel sorry for the people who comment on every word these clowns and their sources say. Don't believe everything you read; from time to time, these people should be held accountable for spreading this kind of harmful misinformation just for clicks and to stir controversy."

Real Madrid had announced yesterday the mutual departure of Xabi Alonso and the appointment of Álvaro Arbeloa as his replacement.
