Fàbregas Requests Signing Bernardo Silva
Tuesday 13-01-2026
The 'Fichajes' website confirmed that the Italian club Como is planning to sign Portuguese midfielder Bernardo Silva from Manchester City in the upcoming summer transfer window, after his contract expires in June 2026, with Spanish coach Cesc Fàbregas interested in adding him to the team.

Italian analyst Paolo Di Canio pointed out that Silva is considering a move to the Italian league, viewing Como's project as a perfect opportunity for him after nine successful years in the English league with Manchester City under Pep Guardiola's leadership.

Silva has extensive experience both domestically and internationally, having played 107 matches with the Portuguese national team, and participated this season in 21 matches during which he provided two assists, with a market value estimated at 27 million euros, making him an attractive option for Como without paying a transfer fee.

Negotiations are proceeding cautiously, with expectations that Fàbregas's influence will play a decisive role in convincing the player to join, making him a cornerstone in the club's ambitious project and leading the team in its quest to strengthen its position in the Italian league and compete for European titles.
