Barcelona Announces Cancelo Passed Medical Examination Ahead of Official Signing
Barcelona club announced, via its official website, that the Portuguese full-back João Cancelo has passed the necessary medical and physical examinations, ahead of officially signing on loan to become a player in the first team.
Cancelo arrived in Barcelona this Monday afternoon and is still under contract with Saudi club Al Hilal before undergoing the medical tests.
The official signing with the player is planned for tomorrow, Tuesday, at 2 PM Egypt time, at the office of club president Joan Laporta, with the player set to appear before the media at 2:30 PM Cairo time in the press hall.
This move comes to strengthen the right-back position within Barcelona’s squad, with the player returning to an environment he knows well.
