Mohammed Al-Qahtani, a player for the Saudi club Al-Hilal, is close to temporarily leaving the team to join Al-Taawoun on loan until the end of the current football season.

A report by the Saudi newspaper "Al-Riyadiyah" revealed that Al-Qahtani has given his official approval to join Al-Taawoun during the current winter transfer window.

The newspaper explained that Al-Hilal's management responded to the cooperation request by including Mohammed Al-Qahtani in the details of Sultan Mandash's transfer deal to the blue team.

Al Hilal officially announced the signing of Sultan Mandash earlier, making him the club's second acquisition this winter, following the signing of Spanish defender Pablo Marí.

Mohammed Al-Qahtani has played 57 matches for Al-Hilal since being promoted to the first team in the 2021-2022 season, during which he scored 6 goals and provided 3 assists.

Al-Qahtani achieved seven titles during his career with Al-Hilal, including two Saudi League titles, two King’s Cup titles, in addition to the Super Cup and the AFC Champions League.
