Moroccan player Salah Eldin Mosadek, the new Wydad player, bid farewell to the fans of his former team, Zamalek, with an emotional message.

Wydad AC of Morocco announced the signing of Moroccan star Salah Eddine Messaoud.

Mosadek said on Instagram: "I was honored to be part of Zamalek Club during the past period, one of the biggest sports strongholds in Africa, and to wear the white jersey. I will always be proud to have played for the club despite the short duration of my time with the team."

He added: "Let everyone know that I endured a lot to stay with the team longer, and the decision to leave was difficult, but it was due to circumstances beyond my control."

He continued: "I carry a mix of sadness and gratitude at the end of my experience with Zamalek Club, and I wish the White Castle success in the coming period. I hope the club's situation improves and that it returns to the podiums of victory soon."

He concluded: "In the end, I thank the club officials, the technical and medical staff, all the workers, and everyone who trusted me and stood by my side. I also thank my teammates who were a true support both on and off the field. Most importantly, I thank the great Zamalek fans—you are the spirit and the motivation, and I will never forget your support at every moment."

The player had unilaterally terminated his contract with Zamalek due to not receiving his overdue financial dues.
