Al Ahly Informs Dieng About Possible Departure
Sports journalist Ahmed Hassan, a former Egyptian football star, revealed that Al Ahly's management has informed Aliou Dieng about the possibility of his departure from the team.
Hassan said on Facebook: "Source: Negotiations between Al Ahly and Aliou Dieng have reached a deadlock... The club has informed the player that he may leave in January if an official offer is made."
The Malian star's contract with Al Ahly ends at the conclusion of the current season.
Recent press reports mentioned that Dieng has offers from Gulf clubs to sign him on a free transfer after his contract with Al Ahly expires.
