Nawaf Naji, a player of Al-Nassr's under-16 football team, surprised his club's management by rejecting the offer to sign a new professional contract, according to a source who spoke exclusively to Al-Riyadiyah newspaper.

The source explained that Al-Nassr's offer was lower than the offers the player received from Al-Hilal, Al-Ittihad, and Al-Qadsiah clubs, which led him to hesitate and not accept it at this time.

Naji is expected to make his final decision within the next two days, amid multiple options available to him and growing interest from clubs eager to recruit his talent early.

Starting from January 14th, the player has the right to sign with any club without needing to consult his original club, after reaching the legal age of 16 to sign professional contracts.

Although he officially belongs to the under-16 category, Nawaf Naji has participated in official matches over past seasons with both the under-15 and under-17 teams.
