Al Hilal Saudi Club is close to finalizing the signing of Sultan Mandash, a player from Al Taawoun, ahead of the official announcement of the deal during the ongoing January 2026 winter transfer window.

Al Hilal Club finalized its agreement with Al Taawoun to sign Mandash, responding to the request of Italian coach Simone Inzaghi, for 15 million Saudi Riyals.

The parties agreed to sign the player to a contract lasting two and a half years, as part of Al Hilal's plan to strengthen its squad with outstanding local players during the second half of the season.

Negotiations have reached the stage of drafting the final contracts between the managements of Al Hilal and Al Taawoun, with official procedures expected to be completed in the coming days, according to Al Riyadiyah newspaper.

The Cooperation Department requested the inclusion of Al-Hilal's winger, Mohammed Al-Qahtani, in the deal on a loan basis until the end of the season, which received preliminary approval from Al-Hilal.

Mohammed Al-Qahtani's decision is still pending, as the player has not yet finalized his stance on undergoing a loan spell with Al-Taawoun.

Sultan Mandash participated in 15 matches with Al-Taawoun this season, scoring 4 goals and providing 3 assists. He was also included in the Saudi national team squad and played in a friendly match against Ivory Coast.
