Journalist Fabrizio Romano revealed that Brazilian winger Wesley Gasova of Al-Nassr is close to leaving the capital club during the ongoing winter transfer window this month.

Romano explained that several clubs have entered the race to sign Wesley, amid growing interest in the player's services, with Al-Nassr's management closely monitoring the offers presented.

He pointed out that the Portuguese club Benfica made an initial offer and showed a strong desire to finalize the deal, placing them at the forefront of those interested in signing the Brazilian winger.

This comes as Al-Nassr Club evaluates the available options, especially given that Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus has not relied on Wesley as a key player this season.

Wesley participated in 16 matches with Al-Nassr across various competitions, during which he scored 4 goals and provided one assist, without establishing himself as a regular starter in the lineup.

Wesley joined Al-Nassr in the summer of 2023, coming from Corinthians on a four-year contract worth 18 million euros, before talks of his potential departure began to accelerate.
