Chelsea head coach Liam Rossini expressed his satisfaction with his team's performance following their victory over Charlton Athletic in the FA Cup, emphasizing that the team delivered a positive start to build on in the coming period.

Rossini said: "A good and professional start. I believe the first goal came at a very important moment in the match. Charlton held up well and defended with a collective organization that was difficult to break through."

He added: "Guerreiro was excellent, delivered a great performance against Fulham, deserved to play today, and his performance was very strong."

He continued: "We scored from a set piece, and that always gives you a positive feeling. Then we conceded a goal, but I said from the start that the quality of my players is exceptional. It was a strong start and something we can build on. Now, we are focusing on the match on Wednesday."

Marc Guéhi was good and deserved his goal, and Jamie Getenz and Alejandro Garnacho delivered outstanding performances on the wings."
