Italian Moves Reopen the File on a Prominent Moroccan Full-Back
Sunday 11-01-2026
The name of Moroccan international Nacer Mazraoui, Manchester United player, has once again emerged within the corridors of Italian club Juventus, which is looking to strengthen its squad during the current winter transfer window in its search for a right-back who possesses technical readiness and the ability to play in multiple positions on the field.

The Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport reported that Juventus management has reopened the file on signing Mazraoui, convinced of his technical abilities and European experience, as well as his tactical versatility that allows him to perform both defensive and offensive roles, making him a suitable option to strengthen the team's right flank.

The Moroccan full-back is going through a difficult period with Manchester United this season due to limited playing time, having featured in only 9 matches, totaling 443 minutes, during the period when former coach Rúben Amorim was in charge of the team.

Juventus had previously been in contact with the player's representatives during the summer of 2025, before renewing their interest recently, taking advantage of his current situation. It is worth noting that Mazraoui, who is 28 years old, is currently playing with the Moroccan national team in the Africa Cup of Nations finals.

The same source indicated that the management of the "Old Lady" is considering several alternative options to strengthen the right-back position, including Genoa player Norton Cuffy, who is also attracting interest from English club Everton, as well as Sasha Boy, a Bayern Munich player, who is among the names being considered on the shortlist.
