Jaissle Finalizes Substitutes and Reveals Al-Ahli's Lineup Features Against Al-Akhdoud
Sunday 11-01-2026
German coach Matthias Jaissle, the head coach of Al-Ahli club, has finalized his tactical options to compensate for the absence of the suspended duo Ali Majrashi and Valentin Atangana ahead of the match against Al-Akhdoud in the Roshn Saudi League.

Prince Hadhil bin Abdulaziz Sports City Stadium will host the match between Al-Ahli and Al-Akhdoud on Saturday evening, as part of the 14th round of the Saudi Professional League, at 8:30 PM.

Ali Majrashi will be absent from Al-Ahli's lineup after being sent off in the classic match against Al-Nassr, while the team will also miss Valentin Atangana due to suspension from accumulating yellow cards.

Jaissle decided to field Mohamed Bakr as the right-back to replace Majrashi, relying on the French player Enzo Milot in midfield instead of his compatriot Atangana.

Al-Ahli faces additional challenges in the match due to the absence of Riyad Mahrez, Edouard Mendy, and Franck Kessié, who have joined their national teams participating in the Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.

The team is also missing the services of the duo Mohamed Abdulrahman and Yaseen Al-Zaidi, as they are occupied with participating with the Saudi Arabia under-23 national team in the AFC Asian Cup.

Al-Ahli occupies sixth place in the Roshn Saudi League standings with 25 points, accumulated from 7 wins and 4 draws, with only one loss since the beginning of the season.
