Al Hilal Saudi Club has finalized its official agreement with Al Khaleej Club to sign midfielder Murad Hawsawi, as part of its strong moves in the January winter transfer market.

Al Hilal outpaced its rivals Al Ittihad and Al Nassr in the race to sign Murad Hawsawi, aiming to strengthen the midfield ahead of the second half of the 2025-26 football season.

Badr Rafi, a correspondent for "Thamaniya" channel, confirmed that the player will join Al-Hilal within the next two days, after completing all final procedures with the management of Al-Khaleej Club.

Murad Hawsawi signs a three-year contract with Al Hilal worth 15 million riyals, with Al Khaleej receiving the payment, and Ohod Club entitled to 40% of the deal.

Hawsawi, 23 years old, has attracted attention with his outstanding performances for the Saudi national team and Al-Khaleej Club, making him a target of interest for several major clubs in the league.

The player had transferred to Al-Khaleej in the summer of 2024, coming from Ohod Club on a loan deal, before the move was made permanent after just one season.

Murad Hawsawi played 43 matches with Al-Khaleej in various competitions, during which he scored 3 goals and provided 2 assists, according to statistics from Transfermarkt.
