Real Madrid qualified for the final of the Spanish Super Cup after defeating their rivals Atlético Madrid 2-1 in the match held on Thursday evening at the Al Inma Stadium, as part of the semifinal round.

With this victory, Real Madrid sets up a highly anticipated clash with Barcelona in the final match, scheduled to take place on Sunday, January 11, in a new El Clásico for the Spanish Super Cup title.
