The regular time of the match between Marseille and Paris Saint-Germain ended in a 2-2 draw in the French Super Cup final held at Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium, leading the two teams to a penalty shootout to decide the title.

Paris Saint-Germain opened the scoring early through Ousmane Dembélé in the 13th minute, before Marseille returned to the game and equalized through Mason Greenwood in the 76th minute from a penalty kick.

In the 87th minute, Marseille scored their second goal after Paris Saint-Germain player Willian Pacho mistakenly scored an own goal, before Gonzalo Ramos managed to save his team by scoring the second equalizer for Paris Saint-Germain in the 90+5 minute.

With this result, the match ended 2-2, and the teams proceeded to a penalty shootout which favored Paris Saint-Germain 4-1, securing the title and adding a new trophy to their collection.
