Al-Ittihad Club is preparing to face a tough match against Al-Kholood, despite the absence of many of its key players, ahead of the 14th round of the Roshn Saudi League, scheduled for Friday evening.

Al-Ittihad will be visiting Al-Kholood at King Abdullah City Stadium in Buraidah at 8:30 PM, in a match where Al-Ameed aims to get back on track.

The official account of Al-Ittihad Club announced the team roster selected by Portuguese coach Sergio Conceição on the "X" platform, which featured significant absences among both local and foreign players.

Three foreign professionals were absent from the list: Algerian Houssam Aouar, Serbian Jan Simić, and Malian Mahamoudou Doumbia, due to technical and organizational reasons related to the regulations governing foreign players.

The list of absentees also included prominent local names, led by Abdulrahman Al-Aboud, along with Faisal Al-Ghamdi, Saad Al-Mousa, Mohammed Barnawi, and Hamed Al-Shanqeeti.

Conceição decided to exclude Houssam Aouar despite his physical readiness and return to group training, while Simic's absence was due to the foreign player quota being full in the league.

Abdulrahman Al-Aboud continues to miss his fourth consecutive match due to a disciplinary decision by the coaching staff, which further complicates the coach's options for the game.

Al-Ittihad currently occupies sixth place in the Roshn Saudi League standings with 23 points, earned from 7 wins and 2 draws, along with 3 losses since the start of the season.
