Conceição excludes Houssem Aouar from Al-Ittihad squad for Al-Kholood match

Portuguese coach Sérgio Conceição settled the status of Algerian midfielder Houssem Aouar after announcing the Al-Ittihad squad traveling to Al-Qassim to face Al-Kholood in the Roshn Saudi League.

Al-Ittihad is preparing to face Al-Kholood on Friday evening, as part of the 14th round of the Roshn Saudi Professional League, in a match scheduled to take place at 8:30 PM.

Conceição decided to exclude Houssem Aouar from the squad due to his incomplete technical readiness following his return from injury, in addition to the continued absence of Abdulrahman Al-Aboud for the fourth match due to a disciplinary decision.

The goalkeeper roster included Predrag Rajković, Mohammed Al-Absi, and Osama Al-Marmash, in preparation for any emergencies during the anticipated match.

In defense, Mario Mitaj, Danilo Pereira, Hassan Kadash, Ahmed Sharahili, Muhannad Al-Shanqeeti, Ahmed Al-Jalidan, and Fawaz Al-Suqoor were present.

As for the midfield, it featured the presence of Ngolo Kante, Fabinho Tavares, Awad Al-Nashri, Hamed Al-Ghamdi, and Mohammed Falatah to lead the rhythm in the center of the field.

The attacking line included prominent names, led by Karim Benzema, alongside Moussa Diaby, Roger Fernandes, Abdulaziz Al-Bishi, Ahmed Al-Ghamdi, Saleh Al-Shehri, and Steven Bergwijn.

Al-Ittihad occupies sixth place in the Roshn Saudi League standings with 23 points, earned from 7 wins, 2 draws, and 3 losses after 12 rounds.
