Friday 09-01-2026
The Al-Ittihad Club management has ended the speculation about the future of Portuguese defender Danilo Pereira after reaching an official agreement that ensures his continued presence with the team.

Al-Ittihad management has agreed with Danilo Pereira to extend his contract for one more season, allowing him to remain with the team until the end of the 2026-27 season.

This decision came after the good performances the player delivered during the current season, prompting the management to act quickly to secure his stay.

Danilo Pereira, 34 years old, entered the free period of his contract during this January, allowing him to sign with any club without needing approval from the federation.

The Portuguese defender joined Al-Ittihad in February 2024, coming from Paris Saint-Germain, on a two-year contract set to expire in the summer of this year.

Pereira is considered one of the key pillars in Al-Ittihad's lineup, having participated in 20 matches across all competitions this season, totaling 1,760 minutes of play.

Since his arrival, Danilo has played 49 matches for Al-Ittihad in various competitions, scoring 4 goals, according to statistics from the global website Transfermarkt.
