Italian club Lecce has made its first offer to Turkish side Gençlerbirliği in an attempt to acquire the services of Italian winger Franco Tongia during the current winter transfer window.

The proposed offer includes a loan with an option to buy at the end of the season, giving Lecce the opportunity to assess the player's performance before committing to the deal permanently.

However, the Turkish club stipulated including a clause that obliges Lecce to purchase Franco Tongya outright if the loan is completed, which could increase the overall value of the deal and make the negotiations more delicate.
