Afsha Settles His Position and Closes the Door on Swap Deals with Al Ahly
Mohamed Magdy Afsha, midfielder of Al Ahly Club, has settled his stance on the offers presented during the current winter transfer window, having refused to be involved in any swap deals that could lead to his departure from the Red Castle.
According to Al-Youm Al-Sabea newspaper, Afsha informed Al-Ahly's management of his firm refusal to leave as part of a swap deal, preferring to transfer separately if a decision is made for him to leave the team during the current January transfer window.
The newspaper pointed out that the midfielder is currently weighing two serious offers from Ceramica Cleopatra and National Bank clubs, in preparation for choosing one of them, provided that Al Ahly's management agrees to his departure during the current period.
Afsha's desire to leave comes as a result of being excluded from the plans of Danish head coach Jess Thorup recently. According to press reports, the player requested a meeting with Walid Salah El-Din, the club's sporting director at Al Ahly, to finalize his situation, especially since he prefers to move on loan until the end of the season.
