The Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo" reported that the performances of the 18-year-old young star Lamine Yamal with Barcelona have raised his market value to a record level. In the 2026 report by the "CIES Football Observatory," he was valued at 343 million euros, surpassing top global stars such as Erling Haaland (255 million) and Kylian Mbappé (201 million).

Yamal tops the list of players under 20 years old by a wide margin over his peers, while Pedri ranks tenth with a value of 130 million euros, and Pau Cubarsí leads the defenders' list with a value of 110 million euros.

The report shows that the highest-valued player outside the five major European leagues is Vitor Roque, valued at 85 million euros. The former Barcelona player and current Palmeiras forward surpasses Spanish striker Samuel Omoredeon from Porto, valued at 76 million euros, and Portuguese winger Giovanni Quenda from Sporting Lisbon, valued at 70 million euros.
