The Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo" revealed that Hans Flick, the head coach of FC Barcelona, is considering making several changes to the starting lineup for the match against Athletic Bilbao in the Spanish Super Cup semi-final.

According to the newspaper, Lamin Yamal is suffering from an intestinal virus that has affected his physical readiness over the past few days, making his participation uncertain, although it has not been completely ruled out. If he is absent, Roni Bardgy is considered the most likely option to replace him on the right wing.

The newspaper explained that Flick is considering moving Eric Garcia back to the center-back position alongside Pau Cubarsí, aiming to restore the duo of Pedri and Frenkie de Jong in midfield. This could result in Gerard Moreno being dropped from the starting lineup, despite the good performances he has delivered recently.

In the backline, Jules Koundé and Alejandro Balde are expected to play, with Flick confirming that Juan Garcia will start as a key player. In the playmaker position, Fermin's chances of starting have increased after receiving praise from the coach for the dynamism and intensity he showed against Espanyol, as well as for assisting both Dani Olmo's and Robert Lewandowski's goals.

The newspaper added that Flick still tends to rely on Ferran Torres as a pure striker, which could keep Lewandowski on the bench, despite his success in scoring during his recent appearance against Espanyol.
