Hossam Hassan Threatened with Suspension

Moroccan press reports have revealed that Hossam Hassan, the head coach of the Egyptian national team, is at risk of suspension following his recent incident with the fans during the Africa Cup of Nations match against Benin.

The Egyptian national team defeated the Benin national team 3-1 in the Round of 16 of the Africa Cup of Nations, advancing the Pharaohs to the quarterfinals of the tournament.

The newspaper "Hesport" reported that Hossam Hassan was seen interacting with the fans after Egypt's third goal, which could expose him to a suspension penalty of up to three matches.

She explained that Article 147 of the Disciplinary Committee Regulations of the Confederation of African Football states that "any person who provokes the fans during a match shall be punished with a suspension of three matches and a fine of no less than $10,000."
