Barcelona continues its decisive moves to close the contract file with the Portuguese João Cancelo on the contractual level, as the club has been working since yesterday to complete all official documents, with only some final formal procedures remaining before the deal is officially announced, according to the Spanish newspaper "Sport".

According to the newspaper, the agreement between Barcelona and the Saudi club Al Hilal has been fully completed, with no outstanding details between the two parties. The understanding with the player himself is also settled, as Cancelo gave absolute priority to joining the Catalan team from the beginning, which helped accelerate the completion of the deal.

The Spanish newspaper "Sport" indicated that the final signing may take place within the next few hours, either by Barcelona's management or the player. If this step is completed, João Cancelo will officially become a player of the club, although the management confirmed that the contract has not yet been 100% finalized formally.

The newspaper explained that Barcelona's plan is to officially announce the deal on Friday, with the official presentation of the player postponed until after the team's return from Jeddah, as the club does not intend to organize it while the delegation is outside Barcelona.
