New Penalty Awaits Al-Ahli Player After Ibanez Suspension
The Disciplinary and Ethics Committee of the Saudi Football Federation announced the official penalty against Ali Majrashi, a player for Al-Ahli Club, following his dismissal during the match against Al-Nassr in the thirteenth round of the Roshn Saudi League.
The committee issued a decision to suspend Ali Majrashi for two consecutive matches, in addition to fining him 20,000 Saudi Riyals, following the violation he committed during the match.
The punishment came as a result of Majrashi assaulting the Portuguese player João Cancelo of Al-Nassr, where he slapped him, leading to an immediate red card being shown to him.
According to the suspension decision, the Al-Ahli player will miss his team's next two matches against Al-Akhdoud and Al-Taawoun, as part of the Saudi Professional League competition.
The match held last Friday witnessed Al-Ahli Club's victory over Al-Nassr with a score of three goals to two, marking the first loss for the yellow team this season.
Al Ahly continues its journey in the league, currently holding fourth place in the standings with 25 points, following a series of positive results in recent rounds.
