The technical staff of Al-Zawraa Club spoke following the goalless draw against Al-Gharafa during the press conference after the match, expressing their disappointment at not securing the win despite the clear superiority and significant possession. At the same time, they confirmed that the team will work on correcting mistakes and continuing to compete in the upcoming rounds of the Iraqi Stars League.

Assistant coach of Al-Zawraa, Hussam Fawzi, said that the draw result was not the ambition with which the team entered the match, explaining that the players were aiming to continue their positive results streak and please the fans.

Fawzi added that today's match witnessed great defensive discipline from Al-Gharafa, which made it difficult to reach the goal and convert chances into goals, despite the control and possession during most of the match.

He pointed out that the pressure and succession of matches clearly affected the players’ readiness and focus on the field, explaining that the team needs higher readiness and greater focus in the upcoming phase to decide such matches.

The assistant coach continued that the technical staff will work on correcting errors and addressing the negatives that appeared in the match, while reinforcing the positive aspects shown by the players, confirming that the team has the capabilities to quickly return to the path of victories.

Fawzi concluded his speech by emphasizing that the winter transfer period will give the team an opportunity to support the ranks and strengthen the technical options, stressing that Al-Zawraa will appear in a better form in the coming rounds and will remain a strong contender for the top positions.
