Barcelona Athletic Club has reached a final agreement with Egypt's Al Ahly Club to complete the transfer of the young Egyptian player Hamza Abdel Karim, after overcoming the last financial obstacles that were hindering the move.

The Catalan club is expected to officially announce the deal in the coming days, with the player set to travel to the capital, Barcelona, to join the reserve team in the second half of the season, according to the Spanish newspaper "Sport."

According to journalist Mahmoud Shawky, the loan fee will be 1.5 million euros, payable once Hamza plays five matches with the reserve team. Additionally, there could be financial bonuses of up to 5 million euros based on the number of appearances with the first team and other sporting achievements. These conditions will extend throughout the contract the player signs with Barcelona, ensuring a significant financial return for Al Ahly if all the terms are met.

Al Ahly initially sought to renew the player's contract for several years before the loan, but the player's father rejected this condition. Instead, they agreed to extend the contract by only one additional year before loaning him to the reserve team. Currently, a video is being filmed in which the player expresses his gratitude to the Egyptian club for the time he spent with them, which helped him develop before moving to Europe.
